Startup Idea: Efficient Lead Tracking and ROI Reporting System
I am a Business Development Manager for a multi-billion dollar company and have been with the company for almost 14 years. I am new to this Business Development role and constantly struggle with system inefficiencies.
I spend way too much time tracking leads in a task management system. This system is only visible by me and so I have to duplicate my work by sending emails. The system also does not have ROI reporting capabilities -- so I may have leads that are not worth my time and no one is held accountable for that.
I believe a system that can track lead workflows (new, warm, hot, cold, in contracting, training, live) that is tied to ROI reporting would be helpful. Those that do not have high ROI would get less of my time. All of this should be measured and visible in a system. I tried looking into Salesforce and that is closer to what I am looking for. Asana is used for task management, but it is limited as well.
