Startup Idea: Automatic Mileage Tracker Application

Startup idea to develop a software application that automatically tracks mileage for individuals who travel a lot for work. The application should be able to connect to vehicles' OBD2, track and accumulate daily mileage, and report this to their smartphone. It should provide a comprehensive annual summary rather than just daily or weekly totals.

I work in the engineering field and do a ton of driving. I can write off all of my mileage but there really doesnt seem to be a GREAT mileage tracker that is automatic. (ie: something that connects to the obd2) and tracks mileage daily and reports to your phone.

There are TONS of trackers that you manually enter or will try to estimate via gps but none that seem to give a sum total at the end of the year. mostly just daily and weekly sums.
