Startup Idea: Local Art Marketplace Startup Idea

Startup idea to develop a localized marketplace platform specifically for selling various kinds of paintings. The aim is to facilitate efficient linkage between artists and potential buyers within a locale, akin to an Etsy or BigCartel but dedicated to artwork.

I am a painter. I have lots of artwork that could be sold at a good price. Everytime I have a gallery, the art sells for a price that makes me think i should be constantly selling it. However, there's really no reliable way to link up my art with prospective buyers. I would absolutely pay $100/a year to have a marketplace that is specifically for selling art on a local level. Something like Etsy or BigCartel, but which is marketed specifically for selling paintings of different kinds. I'd even give you guys a cut of the profit, if it was reliable enough. I haven't found anything like this.
