Startup Idea: Product Generation and Task Management Software Development

Startup idea to create a software for monitoring the generation of products logarithmically over a definite time period and notifying employees for their respective tasks. The process is likened to the bacterial growth in yogurt making, currently managed through an Excel calendar. The software is envisioned to provide an improved task management platform.

I have a product that generates products. It would be helpful to have software that care inform me when the first product is ready (usually 5 days), but then the first product generates more every 3 days for a period of around 30 days. These new ones that are generated after 3 days do not generate new second generation products for another 5 days. After 5 days, they generate products every 3 days as before. This cycle can continue indefinitely, and having a program that informs employees when its time to work on what task would be useful. We have a rudimentary calendar currently. If it helps, you can think of the product as bacteria used for making yogurt. I have made an excel calendar which works well, but you all might be able to create something better.
