Startup Idea: Robust Child Lock Software for Libraries
I have worked in a library on the children's floor for over 5 years now, particularly doing children's programming.
The big pain in planning these programs is children constantly sneaking their ways out of the locks we place to prevent them from accessing inappropriate materials. Despite the current child lock softwares out there now, we have not found one either with even the highest of charge or free that the kids do not surpass!
Developing a stronger way to monitor websites that may contain ANY innapropriate content, even in the ads or videos offered (which is usually how this comes up) would be something us as well as other libraries in the district would love to purchase!. We have tried other softwares but now we monitor the screens of the kids, which becomes a hassle on busier days.
