Startup Idea: Cognitive Science Research PDF Management Tool

Startup idea to develop a software tool for cognitive science researchers that can automatically extract citation details from PDFs of research articles, even when the information isn't already embedded. This would help enhance bibliography compilation and PDF management.

I am a cognitive science researcher, so I deal a lot with PDFs of research articles. I use Bibtex to compile bibliographies, but the software I use to manage the PDFs is not very good at extracting citation information from PDFs. A more useful version would automatically extract citation information, even when the information is not already embedded in the PDF, as is the case for some more modern PDFs.
