Startup Idea: Fashion Industry Models' Scheduling and Payment Tracking App

Startup idea to develop a software/app that bridges the gap in the fashion industry by serving as a book-keeper and job liaison. The app would facilitate scheduling, tracking payments, and improving communication between models, clients and agencies, transforming the current primitive system into a modernized, convenient, and efficient process.

I work in the fashion industry and it is by far one of the most unorganized and tech-backwards industries out there. Models sometimes still bring slips of paper to have clients sign as a record of completing a job. Slips of paper in 2018! Models also have no way of tracking payment from their agencies and are paid infrequently and irregularly. If there was a software/app that was both a book-keeper and job liaison that could check them and remind them of appointments, then models, clients, and agencies would have a much better relationship. There is an app Swipecast that is attempting to help models book jobs, contact people, and get paid all through the app, but it is not something that is used between models and agencies. I solve the problem now by cursing frequently at the horribly archaic way of doing business with everyone in the fashion industry.
