Startup Idea: Technician Experience Tracker for HVAC Companies

Startup idea to develop a software extension that tracks and displays the number of HVAC units each technician has installed. Intended to reassure customers of worker competence through quantity of work done rather than years of experience.

I am a Production Manager for a local HVAC company. we are trying to help customers be reassured with experienced technicians. a lot of customers seem to link years of experience with competent workers. I would rather focus on the quantity of units installed.

I would like to see a software that could add on to our existing business software that would keep track of how many systems each tech has worked on in his history. for example if a customer sees that a technician is coming to their home and pulls up a company profile with this technician only showing 1 1/2 years of experience. where most customers would see this and think poorly on the tech because he only has 1 1/2 experience.

even though this tech could have installed 80 furnaces and air conditioners. The quantity is much more impressive than the years in the trade. i would like to see a software that can track how many units each tech has put in as well as send this information to the customer when the project is sold. i believe it would help to make the customers more calm and trusting of the tech coming to their homes. i do this manually now, would rather see software to track this info.
