Startup Idea: Automated Produce Ordering System for Hospitality Industry
Food service/hospitality industry -Difficult to remember to place orders for local dairy and egg deliveries each week as it varies and currently I do not know of software that can predict the fluctuating need for certain produce in comparison to a chef -If I was a business owner I would pay for this software -Would function as an automated ordering system with sensitivity to seasonal, varying restaurant needs, could integrate into POS system, or replace the outdates POS system with an all inclusive reservation and food ordering hub accessible to all employees with passwords and varying levels of access to the system based on rank. Probably would be useful for it to also connect to the web and include a food allergy reference folder. Continue to use Point of Sale system, probably expensive to replace and few options out there, also is difficult to train people to use a new system.
