Startup Idea: Project Tracker for Screenwriters
I'm a screenwriter who often has to work on 10+ projects at a time, all in different phases, with a different file type for each phase.
The one file type that nearly every phase has in common is the .pdf, which can be shared with others for notes/feedback, but not altered, plus it works on nearly any device anyone might have.
I would be willing to play money for it if instead of having to remember what phase each project is in, or what program I used (final draft, microsoft word, highland...), that there were one 'tracking' program, that not only tells me where I'm at in what program (Excel is working fine for that), but take the latest .pdf from any of them and reopen the latest file that the .pdf was created from in the appropriate program. This could easily save me 20-30 minutes a day,.
