I work in a public library. In particular, I help people to perform genealogical research.

This includes helping people to find the graves of their ancestors and of important people from my area. People performing genealogical research often try to find the burial sites of ancestors.

I can provide maps of cemeteries, but these are often difficult to follow and to read. What would be helpful would be a mobile software, something like an app for a smart phone or ipad, linked to GPS coordinates, that could identify the specific burial sites of people in a cemetery.

Somebody walking along the cemetery would be told who is buried in a spot where they are standing (tombstones that have gotten old are often not helpful), and they could be led to the plot of someone they are searching for.

Yes, my library would pay for this. Yes, I'm sure it would take a lot of time and volunteer effort for people to input the information into the software system.

Over time, it would be very easy for people to find ancestors in well-documented cemeteries.
