*i need stats done for looking at log data for analyzing CT values from PCR for the deltadeltaCT method of analysis for gene expression. many genes at once. there is propriatory software out there but our lab wont buy it. I currently retool an excel spreadsheet between different projects i analyze. but i wager someone with a bit more skills than i could make a platform more automated than manually going in and having to update rows and columns and just checking to make sure cells are linked with proper equations. it isn't hard to do what i do but is time consuming. my spreadsheet does many calculations, stats (ttest or anova) and graphs the data. Would be useful to have a heatmap for visuals.

*software would save me a day or more of clicking at the computer. i should be able just do drop in raw data off the machine that i ran an experiment on and provide me with a graph and stats on results. should just have to put in raw data values and gene names and sample names. it's really just a bunch of math equations to do on many data points that is time consuming to do by hand in excel. furthermore, excel is bad at error bars for log data on values <1.
