Startup Idea: Diagnostic Software for Consumer Electronics

Startup idea to develop a diagnostic software for consumer electronics. This software would be able to run checks on electronics, identifying and diagnosing any potential issues, akin to how car inspectors run diagnostics on vehicles. Enabling users to better understand and fix their own technical issues.

I recently had a wearable camera stop working. I do not know if the contacts for the circuit are bad, the problem is with the software or if it is physically broken. If I had diagnostic software for consumer electronics, I would have a better idea what the problem is and be better informed how to fix the camera. I envision software that can run checks on electronics in an overview-way to help pinpoint the reason why the thing does not work, like inspectors for cars plugging in the car and running diagnostics to gather information about the cars.
