Startup Idea: Social Media Content Curation & Organization Software
I am a social media manager for a small company and I am responsible for finding curated content to post on Twitter and Facebook, as well as creating advertisements and sharing our own content. My workflow includes taking tweets from major players and then flipping their writing to use as templates for our own posting.
The most annoying thing however is saving and organizing these tweets in easily searchable and usable way. Particularly looking for a software that can take phrases such as "Instagram-worthy" and "[...] and your guests will love you for it!" and allow for searching and sorting in a logical manner. Right now I'm saving phrases into a Microsoft Notepad document based on adjectives, sell phrases, and generic lead-ins ("Check out these..." "See how you...") which isn't very efficient or clean.
Basically an expandable "Words that Sell, Revised and Expanded Edition: The Thesaurus to Help You Promote Your Products, Services, and Ideas" (book title) but for social media.
I'd estimate such software could cut down my worktime by half. I have yet to find a program that allowed me to enter words and phrases and easily search for them. Have even tried looking for vocabulary learning tools and setting up my own "dictionary" but I could not find a suitable solution. Currently I copy and paste text in Microsoft Notepad documents and search via CTRL+F but it's messy and requires a lot of scrolling (one word/phrase per line).
