Startup Idea: Thumb Drive Reminder Software

Startup idea to develop software that alerts users when they are log off that their thumb drive is still inserted in their computer, preventing any potential losses.

It would be helpful to me if a computer would advise me that my thumb drive is still in it, especially when I log off. I've lost a few by leaving them in library computers. I realize you're probably not interested in libraries (it falls into your first category of "no ideas") - but a software like this could be helpful in private computers as well. Some people will be prone to leaving the thumb drive at work or at home instead of carrying it with them. So the software would be a convenient reminder (kind of like - "where's the tv remote?". No I didn't try to see if this already exists. Now I keep my thumb drive in my eyeglass case so I don't leave without it.
