Startup Idea: Expense and Mileage Tracker for Home-Based Business

Startup idea to develop software for home-based businesses similar to Jamberry Consultants, that allows for capture and categorization of receipts, calculation of mileage for business use, and comprehensive tracking of varied business expenses for organized tax preparation.

I am a Jamberry Consultant, so I work from home & use my personal computers.

1. I wish that there was software that would allow me to take pictures of receipts, & upload them to store them, as well as designate the type of receipt is (gas, postage, office supplies, website billing, etc).

2. I also wish that the software would be linked to mapquest somehow, so that I could calculate easily mileage easily, & help me figure out what mt gas mileage used for business vs personal use is.

3. It would be nice if it had all of the possible business expenses available, to make staying organized at tax time easier, but also allow me to customize an expense because my business is a little different than most.

4. It would be nice if the program kept track of the ta year, & totaled all of the receipts & other data for me.

I'd pay for this, but I wouldn't paay a fortune for it. Jamberry used to give us this resource for free, but stopped last year. Somebody needs to jump on this!

I'm not the best organized person in the world, & just shove all of my receipts into my purse. It would be so helpful to just snap a picture with my cellphone, upload it, & then I could throw away the receipt. Tax time is a nightmare for me. Yes; Jamberry actually used to have a program for the Consultants that was 100% free. It was very nice, but glitchy.
