Startup Idea: Mood Tracking and Self-Care Guide App for Educators
I am an educator which is an incredibly stressful job. It is easy to forget self care and I often find myself stressed out or in a generally poor mood when work and life become especially stressful. It is difficult to keep track of my mood and general well being because I do not have an integrated method of handling this. Since I often use my phone, a way to do this using that phone would encourage me to pay attention to these important aspects of my life.
I would pay for an application that accomplishes these tasks because it can improve my life and well being.
I would like an application that helps me track my mood. For example: Anxious, tired, frustrated, sad, hopeful, encouraged etc. This will help with a lot of issues associated with significant sources of stress.
Ideally, this app contains a way of tracking mood as well as actionable plans for handling it. For example:
Should I talk to a professional? Should I take a breather or meditate (and how do I do this)? Do I need to sleep better or change my diet? How has my mood changed over time and can I identify causes of the stress?
The app should be easy to use and provide data and trends at a glance. I have not looked, but I think that the difference would be the ability to know what to do in a situation. This would include best practices from doctors, therapists, dieticians etc.
