Startup Idea: Solution for Aggregating Social Media Content for News Media

Startup idea to develop a software that collates social media content from multiple platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc., and assigns them to relevant breaking news stories in a timely manner. It aims to automate the current manual practice and presents the information in a comprehensive format that feeds into news reporting.

I work in news media. On a daily basis I am gathering material from different news websites and social media. Yet I have not found a software program that aggregates social media content from different sources (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and assigns them to breaking news stories in publications.

The closest I have encountered is Storyful, but this web app does not connect social content to specific news articles. This would be helpful as it would create a more complete picture of how information is becoming reportable as it flows in during a breaking news incident. Now I am manually doing this task. It would be great if it was automated.
