Startup Idea: Bicycle Restoration Information Consolidation App

Startup idea to develop a mobile app that consolidates all the various bicycle restoring information, such as model research, year and original components identification, and current replacement parts compatibility for vintage bikes. The app's database should be searchable and cover popular high-end brands like Cannondale, Trek, Giant, Schwinn, Raleigh, etc.

I am an amateur bicycle mechanic who mostly restores vintage bikes. One of the time consuming parts of the job is researching the model, trying to nail down the specific year and original components of the bikes. Also keeping track of which current replacement parts are compatible with what vintage parts. Ex- This specific size break pad with those specific 40 year old caliper breaks. Some of this information is available on Bikepedia and in archived catalogs, some brand specific websites and serial number databases are available, but it's all scattered and not always easy to find. A searchable database, of at least the most popular high end brands (Cannondale, Trek, Giant, Schwinn, Raleigh etc) would be great. Since I'm mostly working in my garage or driveway, a mobile app version would be a plus.

I currently use a wide variety of sources to find the information I need (Bikepedia, archived catalogs, brand specific websites).
