Startup Idea: Brainstorm: Photographical Wikipedia & GPS Spam Tracker

Summary for idea #3166
Startup idea to develop two distinct software. The first one is a photo-based identification tool, comparable to a photographic Wikipedia, helping users identify and understand various objects, organisms, etc., through uploaded or copied photos. The second idea is a GPS tool that locates the origin of spam or viruses in electronic devices, potentially disarming the source or blocking it from targeting the victim again.

TITLE: TWO BRAINSTORM IDEAS

I have two ideas off the top of my head, although not as detailed as the example given:

  1. For curious consumers, a sort of photographical wikipedia where you can upload or copy a photo of something like a plant, tree, machine, insect, animal, etc. and ask the software to identify the item and return helpful information as to what it is (or a list of what it might possibly be), what its purpose is, how it can be useful, destructive or dangerous, etc.

  2. Some sort of GPS that could pinpoint where spam (or viruses) are originating from that turns up on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop and possibly be able to disable the spammer's mode of sending it, or at least block it from reaching the intended victim again

I'm not sure if these are the types ideas you are looking for, however, I can tell you that I would be willing to purchase these items and I think others would as well. I can imagine them being sold at places like Best Buy and Staples. Probably, many companies (like law firms, financial institutions, etc.) would be interested in the second idea as well as consumers.
