Startup Idea: Advanced Inventory Management Software

Startup idea to develop an improved inventory management software for retail businesses. The software should allow managers to easily view and calculate daily, weekly, and monthly averages without needing manual calculations. Additionally, features for calculating tax, net worth and ensuring minimal software bugs are desired.

I am a sale/inventory manager for a retail store. I'm really having a hard time to manage all the numbers on the software that we are currently using. the major problem that i have with the software is that it does not show me the average of a day or week or month. Every number must be plugged in a calculator and divided by the overall for me to get the average number.

I would totally pay for a newer software or suggest my company to pay for it. I would like for it to have all of the features like sum up the total of a day, and give me the average. Also, it has to show the amount of tax and NET worth that the store makes. Bugs are also an issue when it comes to software so i would like the new software to be bug-free or as less as possible.

I hope my experience could help, and my idea could sparkle some innovation for you guys. That would be a good software for people to work in the same field as me. I have not. Glad that i can share my experience.
