Startup Idea: Plant Identification and Tracking Software

Startup idea to design a software that helps botanists accurately quantify and classify plant species in the wild. The solution should include dynamic categorization of plants by genus and family, image capture option, and GPS tracking of the locations where the plants are found.

Hello, I am a botanist who specializes in plant ecology and I find that accurately quantifying and classifying correct species in the wild is an incredible difficulty. I would love to see some implementation of software that would allow me to categorize plants that i have discovered. I would like to implement some sort of dynamic array that would be updated with the genus and families of different plants, as well as their picture, and the actual GPS locations of where I found the flowers, making it possible to go back and track species over their lifetimes. I have not.
