Startup Idea: Smart Nanochip Tracker Design

Startup idea to create a software solution for a miniaturized GPS tracker nanochip that can be attached to personal items like phones, wallets and keys. The idea is to design a software that can locate the nanochip via GPS and activate a sound alert to help users locate their lost items.

I am a student attending the college right now. A big pain in my daily life is losing track of important items such as my phone, wallet, and keys. It is a pain to have to hunt them down. Nowadays, a phone is someone's life and makes it very stressful when people lose it. A software idea that could help with this is similar to findmyiphone app but for items more than just the smartphone. I was thinking something like nanochips that are subtle and small that can be attatched to the back of a phone, in a wallet, or even your keys. With this, one should be able to track down their items if it was connected to a gps. Also, it should be able to make a sound if needed to find the item. I would definitely buy this item. It is similar to findmyiphone app or any other tracking device but most are big and bulky. This would be small, subtle and easy to store.
