Startup Idea: Contract Transition Management Software

Startup idea to create a software or web application specifically designed for contractors to keep track of their contract statuses, maintain open communication with hiring agencies, and submit resumes in one cohesive platform. The system, likely resembling a tailored Slack community, aims to streamline the transition between contracts and mitigate job uncertainty stress in the contract work ecosystem.

I am a contractor, meaning I work on contracts from 6 months to 5-7yrs. Everytime a contract ends I have to seek work elsewhere. For the most part I get hired back onto the same contract with a different contract agency. The issue arises during that unknown phase of a contract switch over. Whether we get a job to support our families is on the line and for a few months we are in the dark. For the most part, a good portion of the contracting team leave due to the frustration of not knowing if they have a job in the coming months. Lots of wasted talent and experience.

I believe there is a need for software/transition website template for companies that take over contracts. The employees can sign onto this software and track contract status, communicate with the different hiring agencies and submit resumes all in one site. Kinda like a Slack community. This should relieve a lot of the stress in the contracting world. i've looked into cloud forums and tried Slack but something marketed to contracting firms do not exist.
