Startup Idea: Graphic Design Software for Non-Designers

Startup idea to develop a user-friendly graphic design software geared towards non-designers. The software would have step-by-step tutorials, enabling users with no prior experience or knowledge in design to craft eye-catching book covers for self-publication efforts.

I am a professional marketing writer with several book drafts in progress. Given the trend toward ebooks and away from print materials, I'd like to skip traditional book queries and publish my work online myself.

My main problem lies in designing eye-catching book covers. I have absolutely no graphic design experience or knowledge, but I place a high value on a well-designed book cover, as potential customers truly do judge books by their covers.

I haven't been able to find graphic design software that is user-friendly enough for me to develop high-quality designs with no prior experience or knowledge. I've tried programs like SmartDraw CI, but found them too complex, with poor results. I'd love to find an easy-to-use software program that provides simple, step-by-step tutorials, and I'd be willing to pay for it.
