Startup Idea: Income Tracking Software for Freelancers

Startup idea to develop an intuitive and easy-to-use income tracking software, targeted towards freelancers. The software should be able to link to Paypal, record earnings from there and personal cash earnings as well. The ideal software would also provide tax report help, indicating if the earnings need to be reported at the end of the year.

I am a freelance graphic designer and cartoonist, and I average about $1000 of work each year. However, I do not have a good way of keeping track of my Paypal and cash earnings that is simpler to use than Microsoft Excel. I need something that is relatively inexpensive (less than $20) that is user-friendly and geared for freelancers who make money but know nothing about business or finance. Preferably it is a software that links to my Paypal account and records earnings I make there, as well as having the ability to post my cash earnings as well. Maybe it also turns this information into a tax document or tells me if I need to report it on taxes at the end of the year.
