Startup Idea: Digital Documentation System for Physical Therapy Clinic

Startup idea to develop a cost-effective digital documentation system for a physical therapy clinic. The proposed solution would use pre-set macros for easy data input, automate billing information transfer, and adhere to medicare documentation and billing guidelines.

I work for a physical therapy clinic that still uses paper documentation. The problems we face are getting the most out of our documentation program. We would like to go to an electronic documentation system which there are some programs available. The one problem I seem to face is a cost effective way to reduce the amount of time spent by a clinician in performing documentation. A program that uses macro sets of pre-determined documentation comments to easily place in the program. Also a way for the billing information to be automatically sent in for billing department. All of this would ideally also understand and follow all medicare documentation guidelines and billing guidelines.
