Startup Idea: Digitized Sales, Cooking, and Labor Sheets for Fast Food Chains

Summary for idea #3238
Startup idea to develop a digital solution geared towards assisting shift managers in fast food joints with sales, cooking and labor sheets. The software should handle calculations based on previous day sales to determine food (primarily meat) needs, alongside offering labor cost estimations. The system is to integrate seamlessly with NCR/Aloha computer systems to offer real-time, easy to access information on registers.

I work for a fast food chain as a shift manager, and we use NCR/Aloha as our computer system. One big pain that we struggle with is sales, cooking and labor sheets. Half of our managers don't understand them, and can't fill them out properly. We use a specific calculation to determine to amount of meat we need, and it's troublesome when they can't cook the proper amount of meat. The amount is based on sales from the prior day. I know how to do it, but it gets to be rather tedious, as well as irritating when other managers refuse to fill them out properly.

A good solution to this would be to digitize this sheet and allow the system to calculate hourly sale differences, provide the day's necessary amount of meat, plus estimate hourly labor costs. If this is something we could check quickly on the register, it would be much simpler than our current process.
