I work as a retail consultant and mystery shopper. This industry tends to hire workers on a contract basis. Assignments can vary from mystery shopping to auditing to store evaluations. At present there is no streamlined way to keep track of which companies I've signed up to work for, how much each assignment pays, when payment is issued, and mileage driven for each assignment. I have an Excel spreadsheet that helps me to keep track, however, it's a tedious and inefficient process. An app that would track these variables and synchronize on all my devices would be ideal. There are several hundred companies who hire and manage mystery shoppers. This is a much needed service.

In addition to Excel to manage the variables above, I've also used Evernote to take notes once I get to a location and to record my thoughts after I've completed an evaluation. An app or software solution which could do all of these things would be extremely useful.
