Startup Idea: App to Enable Easier File Management on Android

Summary for idea #3292
Startup idea to develop a simple, lightweight file managing app with SD card access specifically for Android platforms. The solution aims to overcome the limitation set by Android 6.0 and above, allowing permissions to automate the process of moving files from the internal downloads folder to the external SD card’s Downloads folder.

I am a Data Analyst for a Tech company, but my idea for software is unrelated to my job.

I am an Android enthusiast. Since Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) was released, (now Android is on 7.0) Google decided to remove the write capability to external SD cards from most applications. I know I am not alone in my frustration with this since my internal memory is much less than my external SD card.

I am pretty certain that there must be a way around this, particularly with Root privileges, and especially with Xposed framework installed.

But even without Root privileges or Xposed framework installed, I know there are file manager applications such as, "ES File Explorer" that will request permission to access the SD card, and you can grant permission without Root.

But, as ES File Explorer used to be my favorite File managing app for Android it has become WAY too big and bloated, trying to be a swiss-army-knife of all things. When it only needs to be a simple File manager, that looks nice & simple, has access to the SD card, and can automate the process of moving Files from the internal downloads folder to the external SD card's Download folder.
