Startup Idea: Client Management Software for Growing Salon Business

Startup idea to develop a software tool for salons that helps in maintaining the client data. The tool should notify the user about the last service date of clients in order to schedule new appointments and also give notifications about previous services and products used by the client. This would enhance cross-selling and upselling, ultimately increasing salon revenues.

I am a hairstylist at a salon that has grown from two to five salons in one year. There are some software tools that would come in handy for increasing revenue. The ability to receive notification when inputting an alotted amount of weeks pertaining to clients last service date. For example, I would search for customers whose last service was 10 weeks ago. At that point I make courtesy calls in an attempt to book appointments. It would also be useful if the program notified me when checking in the client if their previous service included products. This would in turn enhance my ability to encourage the client to restock or try something new. With these software tools I believe the chance to increase salon revenues would be higher.
