Startup Idea: Agricultural Scheduling Solution

Startup idea to develop a software solution designed to manage and keep track of plants and animals in an agricultural setting. The system will predict planting, harvesting, and animal breeding schedules, allowing adequate workforce planning and better operational efficiency.

I work in agriculture. We have many plants that need to be planted at certain times of the year. These plants will also need to be harvested during a certain time. Our animals need to breed at certain times of the year and then will give birth at different times. WE have not found any software that will let us keep track of many different plants and animals. THis becomes a scheduling issue because we need to schedule enough employees on weeks there is a possibility of both animals that will give birth and plants that need to be harvested, yet we only have enough employees for one job. We have looked for software but haven't been able to find any that works. Right now we use a calendar and mark off the days in one color for plants, and other colors for specific animals. We mark when they need to be planted and potentially harvested. We mark when animals breed and potential birthing days. WE cross reference all this before scheduling. It's more time time consuming.
