Startup Idea: Environmental Inspection Data Collection Software

Startup idea to develop a software for environmental consultants to digitally capture data during site inspections, eliminating the need to scan paper documents. The software should work on a tablet and help save valuable time.

I work in the environmental consulting industry and one big thing that we deal with is inspections at project sites that need contamination clean up.

During the inspections, we physically write down certain things that fit special criteria. Then, back at the office, we have to scan the document and upload it to the computer. It would be helpful to have software that can be used on a tablet that lets us input the data directly in the software, so we do not have to scan a written piece of paper. This would save us valuable time.

I would pay for this software if it was a reasonable price and it fit my expectations. As noted before, this software will allow us to not write things on physical paper but rather input data on a tablet. This skips the step of having to scan the documents. We have tried to find a solution but the software was not up to our expectations. We did not search anything because one person already had an idea of what to look for.
