I'm an avid astronomer and many times, I'd like to know where the darkest night skies are in my local area. This involves seeing where the light pollution is and the only way I can check it now is by going on my laptop to various science webpages that show that info. The app could work by location and also show current weather conditions including humidity, dew points and wind directions. An app like this would be very popular with many astronomers and others I'm sure. I'm not aware of any app that shows specifically light pollution.
