Startup Idea: Training Reminder and Catalogue Integration Software for Merlin

Startup idea to develop a software that integrates with corporate tool Merlin, used in the hospitality industry, to provide custom reminders and display relevant course catalogs to staff. The goal is to ensure timely completion of necessary training and certifications for each staff member.

I work in the hospitality industry and our parent corporation requires us to maintain our cerifications by taking course credits every year. The company has to earn eight credits per calendar year, most of which are person specific. We also have to complete some non credit training based on role. Every year in October, most staff are reminded by me that they have not completed their training. I, of course do mine at the beginning of the year. I wish there was a software that integrated with our corporate software called Merlin that sent reminders every time someone logged in. Better yet, maybe I could assign classes or at least the catalog could pop up to the right page specific to the person. The classes are all full by the end of the year!. I tried setting myself reminders for each person, but I'm too busy.
