Startup Idea: Automated Industry-Specific Website Content Creation
I am a webdesigner and clients tend to ask me to make them a website of their specific industries that I know nothing about without a bunch of research (spine surgery, spa services, fracking, etc) and it's like pulling teeth getting them to specify what services they want to offer and a description of what those services are about, so the site can have a nice blurb for each service.
I wish there was a software that could list a big checklist of common services in each job description and spit out a generic blurb for each checked thing. This kind of service would make my job a lot faster and easier. It's easier to see a comprehensive list of possible services to offer, and even be able to show a client here, what of these do you do? Than to ask a client and they answer with some vague thing, and then having to go to different websites about their industry and ask them back do you do this one? That one?
A nice service-specific picture to go with it would be great too. It takes a long time to find good clipart at a reasonable price.
I would pay for it if it didn't cost too much and ideally wasn't misspelled. "How to build a good ______ website" and that kind of thing. There is www.salonbuilder.com but it's very specific to nail salons and spas, you can't use it at all without first putting in your address and phone number, and also it generates full sites with very little control, the sites it generates are butt ugly and misspelled, and barely customizable at all. I want my own site, I just wish I had an easier way to do these descriptions.
My only solution to the problem right now is to visit multiple sites for descriptions of services and even more sites for free or licenseable clipart.
