Startup Idea: Achievement-based Motivational App for Adults

Startup idea to develop an app that introduces an achievement-based system to motivate adults in everyday tasks. The app would function similarly to earning badges in gaming or scouting, incentivizing users to complete tasks and take on new challenges.

I am an avid gamer and former Boy Scout. I find one of the things that I liked about both things was that when you achieved something, you were rewarded with a patch or badge.

In my adult life, I find it hard to try new things or complete unpleasant tasks such as working out, eating better, going to new places, etc.

An app that would create an achievement like environment, the same that you find on xBox, Playstation, any MMOPRG, or the scouts would give my incentive to make my life better. I'm not looking for something that's tied to a company or brand, I wouldn't feel good about say buying something from a local business. Yes. Achievement app, challenge app, life achievement. I haven't found one yet.
