Startup Idea: Automated Appointment Reminder and Follow-up System

Startup idea to develop a software tool that can help automate the process of appointment reminders in a network marketing business. The tool would ideally scan the user's appointments, send text reminders to the respective parties and provide status updates regarding confirmations, cancellations or non-responses. Additionally, it should be able to send automatic follow-up reminders.

I am in a network marketing business. One of the primary functions by which I operate and build my business is in setting appointments and calling people to present my business. One of the biggest issues I run into is people forgetting the appointments we have set. I always put appointments in my calendar. Often, if I remember, I will text people an hour or so ahead of time to remind them of our appointment. But if I am busy or simply forget to do this, the changes of the appointment being kept go down. I would like a tool that could automate this process for me. So something that could look at my appointments, and based on the type of appointment, would send a text message to the other party reminding them. I would also like to see some kind of a notification that told me weather they responded to confirm, responded that they cant make the appointment, or if they don't respond at all within a reasonable amount for time. I would also like to see the system send a follow up text reminder. I have looked for this type tool but not found anything that fit this description. I searched appointment reminder. I have seen tools that coordinate meetings online, or allow other people to set a schedule based on your availability, but not something that would remind the other party of an upcoming appointment, especially like in my case where I have it on my calendar but perhaps they DON'T have it on theirs.
