Startup Idea: Dynamic VLOOKUP Automation Tool

Startup idea to aid Oracle BI Consultants with a software that automates the tedious VLOOKUP formula creation during financial process migration. The software will dynamically accept source and target columns from two files with a user-friendly interface.

I am an Oracle BI (Business Intelligence) Consultant and my main task is to reverse engineer my client's current financial process which is typically in large Excel spreadsheets and build it in Oracle BI financial software.

One function that I'm constantly using is VLOOKUP and building the formula in these spreadsheets over and over again.

Granted, I could use a macro to build the macro and fill the column with the formula, BUT the columns that I have to compare are always in different positions between spreadsheets.

If someone could develop software that allows you to import two files (source and target) and have a simple GUI that allows you to pick source and target columns with a nice output tab, that would be HUUUGE in our industry. Yes. I've even tried to build something but hard to make it dynamic and also GUI based. I have to manually type the VLOOKUP formula every time.
