Startup idea to develop a software solution aimed at solving the 'Traveling Salesman Problem' specifically for the fresh produce supply chain. It would determine the shortest and most efficient routes for delivering harvested produce from farms to vendors across specified geographical areas, thereby optimizing fuel cost and refrigeration expenses.

Traveling salesman problem applied to the fresh produce supply chain. Fresh produce must be harvested from local farms and supplied to various venders/restaurants across the state.

For example, in CA, let's say, 20 such places needs to be supplied along the 1-5 corridor, and then 10 such places in along the highway 99 corridor.

The software's goal is to minimize the amount distance traveled and the money spent on the gas/refrigeration as to maximize your profit.

If you can add the lowest gas prices for filling up the supply trucks, that will be helpful also. Then the software will find the shortest route, and the most optimal location to fill up the truck with gas.
