Startup Idea: Automated Verification System for Healthcare Staffing
I work in Healthcare staffing for a large hospital chain. We have over 50,000 employees in all lines of business with over 9,000 contract laborers.
Our employment tracking software does not auto-validate data that is uploaded. EX: if we upload a drivers license, this information is not parsed automatically, rather it takes man-hours to input and validate all data. Time consuming, draining and wasteful.
I would pay to have someone find a fix to this issue, especially if they could help reduce fraud. EX: the system would know that a BLS card expires every two years, it would then note any that show an expiration over those two years and notify admin. Fraud is a major hurdle in healthcare staffing and accounts for ~50% of all lost placements. This hurts patient health, insurance rates and revenue.
