Startup Idea: Novel Writing & Management Software
I am a writer and write very long, epic novels with many characters and subplots. Often I have trouble keeping track of various things such as characters, themes, plots, setting details, and the like.
My idea is for a user friendly program used by writers much like MS Word, but with a way to keep track of these details and organize them in a productive manner.
I say "user friendly" because most of the more productive writers are not necessarily a demographic that is computer literate, especially amongst the older writers.
This novel writing software would ideally have a way to write the novel and organize it by chapter, as well as have a user friendly search function for characters and side files for elements such as theme and character development. Sort of like virtual flash cards or text-based storyboarding.
