Startup Idea: Employee Task and Schedule Management Software

Startup idea to build a software platform that allows employees to easily input the status of their task completion metrics, enabling real-time tracking of adherence to schedules. The software needs to be compatible with Windows and support cross-platform accessibility for traveling workers.

I work for a clinical research organization as a labor analyst, I manage people's schedules. I own an excel document that records every employees tasks and average time to completion for those tasks (mostly big picture).

Software that could allow employee's to easily enter in 'completion' metrics, would allow us to track - in real time - how well we're sticking to our schedule. Tasks would only need to be tracked every few days or once a week ideally.

Everyone in the company works on Windows laptops, but many people travel and often, so it would need to be accessible and transferable across all platforms.
