Startup Idea: Task Progress Management Software for Large Teams

Startup idea to develop a software solution that allows large teams, like those in software firms, to efficiently track individual task progress within group projects. The goal is to increase work efficiency and organizational management.

I am a web designer for a large software firm. At my job there are over 500 employees. During a typical day we are always working on group projects. However due to some disorganized employees we have no way of knowing how far along everyone is coming. It would be great to know how much of a task another coworker of mine has completed. This can help everyone become efficient in our work.
