Startup Idea: Lead Verification and Duplication Plugin for SugarCRM

Startup idea to develop a software tool that could augment the SugarCRM system used in small businesses for better lead management. The tool would cater to screen the duplicate entries and actively scan the web for updating the lead contact information.

I work in sales at a company that employs less than 20 people. Our CRM database is the community edition of SugarCRM. Leads are frequently out of date and it would be very helpful if there was a way to screen duplicate entries or allow a software tool to crawl web searches for leads in the database to obtain relevant contact information. I would gladly pay for this however I can't say if the company would.
