Startup idea to develop an exhaustive, real-time database capable of listing sports statistics for all times. This service aims to aid sports research departments and sports enthusiasts in keeping up with feat performance and record-breaking events with updated data. The income model could be subscription-based, offering both monthly and yearly packages.

I work in a sports research department. In particular I work for a major college division 1 program that hosts sporting events that attract thousands of spectators. Part of the fan experience is keeping those fans engaged. We want to provide a source of information that can keep the most uninitiated as well as the die hard sports fan engaged through real time stat updates and information. Currently we have to search numerous sources for records to report on when records are broken or feats accomplished. If there were a central exhaustive online database that listed all sports statistics for all time as well as updated in real time it would greatly assist us in our real time presentations. I would be willing to subscribe to this service and would think the best income model would be monthly subscriptions with a yearly option/discount. The survey would provide realtime exhaustive statistics that would enable us to utilize our interns in other facets of the gamed experience.
