Startup Idea: Shipping Consolidation and Billing Management System

Startup idea to design and develop a software that automates the process of consolidating shipping bills at the end of the month, ensuring that all necessary charges are accurately billed to the respective clients. This solution aims to minimize revenue loss occurring from mismatched invoices and overlooked billing.

I work at a fulfillment house that services the entertainment industry.

A lot of our clients will use our carrier shipping accounts to send out the materials. We obviously add in a margin so we make money on this.

However, we do not have a good system for consolidating at the end of the month. Account managers easily miss charges that need to be billed back to their clients.

They may also be placed under the incorrect client.

I would say we get the majority of it correct. However, I am wondering how much money we are losing because a manager misses billing back to their client.
