Startup Idea: Automated Project Management Integration for Construction Industry

Startup idea to develop a connective software system for the construction industry. The software needs to integrate automated and robotic systems that can report task completion directly to the project management software, automating the update process.

We are working in the construction industry and have a consortium that is adding other construction companies and equipment manufacturers to exploit an underused portion of the market spectrum.

We plan for a lot of automation when it comes to the actual construction work and have setup considerations for the equipment that we will utilize.

Similarly, we are in the process of evaluating project magmt software. What we would like to do is find a company that is capable of creating a connector to automated and robotic systems that report back when a task is complete so that that data can automatically update the project management software.

The projects that we have may take another several months to get to the go stage as far as assembling our teams, but we want to start talking to companies in advance of that time. Yes and no. Our requirements are fairly solid, but our platforms are still not set in stone, making this the type of project that will put icing on the cake. Currently, we do not have automated updates of tasks being completed. We keep the equipment development and the project management development separate.
