Startup Idea: Cloud-based Employee Timesheet Management System

Startup idea to develop a cloud-based system for efficient management of employee timesheets. The system automates the process, notifies approving managers and is easy for the payroll manager to handle.

I am an IT Manager at a non profit Arts organization. Currently, we have a very labour intensive, manual way of keeping track of our salaried employees time.

We use Excel spreadsheets which are then submitted to the Payroll manager. There is no work flow approval or automation whatsoever.

This is tedious for approving managers and extremely tedious and time consuming for the Payroll manager.

A cloud based system with notifications and automated workflow to approving managers would be ideal for the biweekly timesheet submission to be efficient.
