Startup Idea: Simple IP Monitoring Software for Manufacturing Plant

Startup idea to develop a lightweight IP ping software for manufacturing environments. The solution should offer a simple interface for adding and monitoring IP addresses, providing visual indicators of the devices' online status.

I work in a very large manufacturing plant and have multiple types of network resources that I'd simply like to know are active. Being able to "ping" the objects IP address to see if it is active would be enough. It seems like a simple idea, but I couldn't find any resources out there except those that are FAR too bulky and cost FAR too much. It would be nice to have a simple interface that simply allows you to add IP addresses to be pinged. This would allow me to see if Smart TVs, tablets, computers, manufacturing machines, etc were online all in one place. Currently our company uses Nagios as a tool for this, but administration is bulky and has FAR too many features to use to simply monitor non-critical media panels, information screens, scheduling tablets, etc.

It would be beneficial to have some sort of interface that would simply tell you if they're online or not. No need for notifications of any type, just a list of IP that can be pinged periodically, every 5 minutes, every 10 minutes along with an indicator. Red or green. Period. Since it wouldn't require a ton of features, it may not be costly, but it would be a valuable tool. Personally, I would gladly pay $100 for something like this. I'm sure much more could be made off of corporate licensing, etc. We searched all over the internet for weeks trying to find simple IP ping software, but couldn't find anything simple enough, or that you could simply add an IP address to. We don't monitor the panels now, we have to walk the perimeter of the plant and physically look at the panels to verify that they are active.
